Spoon Sweet Festival

A celebration of traditional Cypriot spoon sweets (glyko tou koutaliou) in the village of Kakopetria in the Troodos mountains. Taste and buy spoon sweets and preserves made from green walnuts, quince, small white eggplants, cherries, figs with almonds, watermelon rind, bitter orange and much more. Cooking workshops, traditional Cypriot products, free walking tours of old Kakopetria and local museums. Live traditional music, Cypriot dances and entertainment for children.
