Apple Festival

Kyperounta is the true apple capital of Cyprus, producing about a third of the country's total apple and pear harvest. Every October, the picturesque mountain village at an altitude of 1,130–1,300 m invites guests to celebrate the harvest.

Program: presentation of all Cypriot apple varieties (including the unique 'Kafista' and 'Lortika'), a photo exhibition, an agricultural equipment display, and a culinary contest for apple dishes. Market stalls with apple products: fresh apples, apple syrup, apple cider vinegar, apple chips and cookies. Fragrant apple drinks and live preparation of palouze.
