Along the Trails of Venetian Bridges (Hike) — 27 September

Salonica View is organising a hike to the medieval Venetian Tzelefos Bridge in the Paphos Forest. The departure is scheduled for 27 September 2026 at 07:30 from Nicosia, with intermediate stops in Kofinou and Limassol. The route starts at Tzelefos Bridge and includes a walking section along forest trails with panoramic views, changing landscapes and rich vegetation.

The walking route is approximately 10 kilometres in both directions, lasts 4–5 hours and has a difficulty level of 2 to 3 points. Very good physical fitness is required. Tzelefos Bridge is located at an altitude of 440 metres in the Paphos Forest, spans the Diarizos River and is part of a complex of Venetian bridges built during the period of Venetian rule in Cyprus.

Participation costs 25 euros per person, excluding meals. The price includes guidance and organisation, the services of active recreation instructors, bus transfer from Nicosia and back, the hike and a first-aid kit. After the hike, free time and the opportunity to have lunch in the village of Arsos are planned.
