Türkiye ve Kuzey Kıbrıs doğalgaz boru hattı anlaşması imzalayacak

Friday, Turkey Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will pay an official visit to North Cyprus. The main event of the trip will be the signing of a memorandum on the construction of a gas pipeline between Turkey and North Cyprus.

The Turkish delegation will also include Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı.

The visit program will begin in Ercan, where a fire helicopter will be handed over to North Cyprus. After that, Cevdet Yılmaz and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel will make a joint statement to the press.

A meeting with President Tufan Erhürman is also scheduled, as well as visits to the integrated cold storage complex in Güzelyurt, the city’s new municipal building and the construction site of the new state hospital in Lefkoşa.

In addition, the Turkish delegation will visit the AK Parti representation in North Cyprus.
