Cloudy Weather and Mountain Frost Expected in Cyprus on December 17

According to the Meteorological Department of the Republic of Cyprus, weak high-pressure systems will temporarily influence the region on Tuesday, December 17.

Cloudy skies are expected in the morning, with isolated showers possible in some areas. Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach approximately 18°C inland, 19°C along the coast, and 8°C in the mountainous regions.

By the evening, the weather will become mostly clear, though areas of low cloud cover may persist locally. Light fog may form in certain areas during the early morning hours. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to around 7°C inland, 9°C on the coast, and 1°C in the mountains, where frost is likely.

Looking ahead, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will see predominantly sunny conditions.

Temperatures will gradually rise through Thursday, remaining slightly above seasonal averages. However, a slight decrease is expected on Friday.
