The court ordered an eight-day detention for a 44-year-old suspected of committing two arsons in the Dekelia area in Larnaca early Saturday morning. According to the police, around 4:30 a.m., a fire was reported in a building in the area; within a few minutes, four parked cars near a car service caught fire.
Fire services quickly extinguished both fires, but the building and four vehicles were completely destroyed; another car suffered minor damage.
