33-year-old man injured in knife attack in Aradippou
Cyprus Police are investigating an attempted murder case after a 33-year-old foreign national was seriously injured in the Aradippou area.
The incident occurred today at around 00:50. The injured man was found on a road in the Aradippou area. Police officers arrived at the scene, after which the man was taken to Larnaca General Hospital.
A medical examination showed that the man had sustained injuries to his body and arms, apparently caused by a sharp object. He was later transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
According to the investigation, the attack may have been carried out by a 21-year-old man. Following a search operation, police officers located and arrested the suspect under a court warrant for investigation purposes.
