Over 70 Kilograms of Drugs Found in Parked Car in Limassol

Limassol police have seized a large quantity of drugs: more than 70 kilograms of various illegal substances were discovered in a parked car.

According to the police press office, a suspicious car was noticed the night before last. Upon searching the vehicle, officers found approximately 10 kilograms of cannabis, 60 kilograms of gummy candies containing narcotic substances, about half a kilogram of cannabis resin, 200 ecstasy tablets, 150 grams of cocaine, and several other types of drugs.

A 21-year-old Greek Cypriot has been declared wanted in connection with the illegal drug trade. The 38-year-old owner of the car has already appeared in court, where a judge ordered his detention for six days for further investigation.
