Greece, Cyprus and Egypt to strengthen trilateral cooperation
Greek Foreign Minister Georgios Gerapetritis and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty agreed to continue and strengthen coordination within the framework of trilateral cooperation between Greece, the Republic of Cyprus and Egypt. The phone call took place on Saturday as part of the two ministers’ regular contacts.
The sides discussed the strategic partnership between Greece and Egypt, as well as the further development of cooperation in the fields of the economy, investment and energy.
In addition, the ministers exchanged views on the regional situation and stressed the need to intensify diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the region.
