Cyprus Stock Exchange admits 101.41 million new MHV shares to trading
The Cyprus Stock Exchange has set the start of trading date for 101.41 million new shares of MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture Plc: the securities will be admitted to trading on Monday, 21 September. The shares, with a nominal value of €1 each, were placed through a private placement in favour of the parent company, Greek Prodea Real Estate Investment Company.

Following the inclusion of the new securities in the listing, the total number of MHV shares will rise to approximately 221.61 million, while the issued share capital will reach €221.61 million. The securities are traded on the Emerging Companies Market of the Cyprus Stock Exchange and, at the same time as their admission to trading, will be registered with the Central Depository and Central Registry.
The new shares were issued as consideration for assets being transferred to the Cypriot company by Prodea. A total of 44.91 million shares were issued for a 75% stake in a five-star hotel fund in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy; 26.42 million for a 100% stake in the entity that owns the Porto Paros resort complex in Greece. A further 13.83 million shares were allocated to the 200-room Moxy hotel in Athens, which has been operating since 2022; 10.72 million to a mixed-use building in central Athens; and 5.52 million to a four-storey building planned for conversion into a hotel.
MHV shareholders unanimously approved the transactions at meetings in March and June 2026, while the placement price was confirmed by independent valuations.
MHV was registered in Cyprus in 2018 and operates in the hospitality and real estate sectors across the Mediterranean. Its Cyprus portfolio includes the Parklane resort in Limassol, the Park Tower residential complex there, and The Landmark project in Nicosia. The group says it aims to become one of the largest institutional owners of tourism assets in Southeastern Europe.
