Cypriot capital in Brussels: a major €100 million deal
A Cyprus-registered investment company, Easternmed Real Estate Capital, has announced the acquisition of The Muse office building, with an area of about 10,500 square meters. The property is located in Brussels’ European Quarter at 75 Rue d’Arlon, in immediate proximity to key EU institutions. The building was put into operation in April 2026.
The total value of the deal amounts to €100 million, of which €82.26 million was paid for 100% of the shares in the company that owns the building, while the remainder includes the transfer of financial obligations related to the office fit-out. The European Defence Agency (EDA) will become the property’s long-term tenant for the next 15 years, which guarantees the investor stable income. For Cyprus, whose stock exchange lists the buyer’s shares, this deal is an important example of island capital entering major EU commercial real estate markets and strengthening the country’s reputation as an international investment base.
