First section of Faneromenis Avenue in Larnaca to open to traffic on 14 September

Construction work on the first section of Faneromenis Avenue in Larnaca has been completed, and it will open to traffic on 14 September. The city municipality announced this.

According to the announcement, the information was provided by the Public Works Department and the contractor for the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (ΣΒΑΚ) project. Construction on the first section has been completed, but the road will remain closed until Monday, 14 September, in the direction from the roundabout near K-Cineplex to the main Faneromenis junction, as road markings are being applied there.

From 14 September, the reconstructed section will open to traffic. At the same time, work will begin on the opposite side of the avenue, which the municipality estimates will take about a month. During this period, the diversion along Nikos and Despina Pattichi Avenue will operate in the opposite direction to the current traffic arrangement.
