Summer rush at Cyprus airports: 325 flights a day in Larnaca and Paphos
At the height of the tourist season, Larnaca and Paphos airports handle around 325 flights a day.
As Maria Kouroufi, Hermes Airports’ Director of Aviation Development, Marketing and Communications, said, Larnaca Airport is currently handling around 230 flights daily, while passenger traffic stands at approximately 36,000 people a day, including both arriving and departing passengers.
Paphos Airport handles around 14,000 passengers and 95 flights daily.
Road access to the arrivals area at Larnaca Airport has also been restored. It is intended for private vehicles, which may stop briefly to pick up passengers. Police officers are monitoring traffic to prevent congestion.
For longer stays, passengers can use the airport car park: the first 20 minutes cost €1. Parking can be paid for by bank card when exiting.
