Limassol sends out property tax bills: rate of 0.264 per mille, payment due by 30 September
The Municipality of Limassol has sent property owners their municipal property tax bills for 2026. They must be paid by 30 September; after that date, a 10% surcharge will be added to the amount.

The rate for 2026 has been set at 0.264 per mille of the property's assessed value. In monetary terms, this is €26.4 for every €100,000 of value: for an apartment assessed at €300,000, the annual bill will be approximately €79.
The previous rate was lower — 0.24 per mille, approved by the municipality on 10 May 2021. For the owner of the same €300,000 apartment, the annual payment will increase by approximately €7.
Payment can be made at the municipal tax service cashier's office at 23 Archbishop Kyprianou Street and at the cashier's office of the Mesa Geitonia Municipal District at 14 Griva Digeni Street. Online payment is also available on the municipality's website and via the Dimotis Lemesou mobile app.
The legal basis for the levy is Articles 104–108 of the Municipalities Law N.52(I)/2022. The tax is charged to owners of property within the municipal boundaries, and a 10% surcharge is added to any amount not paid on time.
