Fight near Tsirion Stadium in Limassol: one person injured, arrests made

A fight took place in the area of Tsirion Stadium in Limassol, as a result of which a 21-year-old man suffered an injury from a sharp object, believed to be a knife.

The incident occurred around midnight. According to police, three or four people were involved in the altercation.

Police officers who arrived at the scene found the 21-year-old man with an injury in the shoulder blade area. The injured man was taken to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors confirmed that the injury had been caused by a sharp object.

Later, police found a 15-year-old teenager and a 21-year-old man not far from the scene. They were in possession of a metal chain. Law enforcement officers believe they may be connected to the fight.

Both were arrested and placed in custody.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
