Kiti residents complain about large numbers of ticks

Residents of Kiti in the Larnaca district report a large number of ticks.

According to one correspondent, after every walk with the dog, five ticks have to be removed from the animal, while several are also found on the person’s clothing or body.

Pet owners are advised to be especially vigilant when walking through tall grass and overgrown areas. After returning home, they should carefully check themselves and their pets, and use special tick protection products.
