Tax return filing for 2025 has begun in Cyprus
On Thursday, Cyprus began accepting tax returns for 2025, and the filing period will run until October 31.
Key requirements of the Tax Department:
• Who must file: Tax returns must be submitted by all salaried employees, pensioners and self-employed persons whose gross annual income exceeds 19,500 euros.
• Filing method: Returns are accepted exclusively online through the Taxisnet system.
• Deadline and penalties: October 31 is the final deadline both for submitting the documents and for paying any remaining tax liabilities. A late filing penalty of 150 euros is предусмотрен for failure to file the return on time.
