Remethan 100 mg medication recalled in Cyprus
Pharmaceutical company Remedica has reminded the public about the recall of certain batches of Remethan 100 mg and urged patients to stop taking it immediately.
Anyone taking this medicine is advised to return it to the pharmacy and contact their treating doctor or pharmacist for a replacement with an equivalent medicine.
The recall applies to several batches of the product with expiry dates from September 2026 to November 2030. According to the company, batches 116856, 122934 and 127806 may still be on sale.
The reason for the voluntary recall was not specified in Remedica's statement.
