Dead python found among waste at Pentakomo processing plant
Employees at the Pentakomo waste processing complex in Cyprus discovered a dead python during manual waste sorting, causing shock among the facility's workers.
According to sources, the snake was in a black bag among the trash that arrived at the sorting line. The python was noticed by chance as the waste moved along the conveyor belt.
It is reported that only about 5% of incoming waste is sorted at the plant, so it remains unknown how many similar cases may occur without being spotted.
The head of the Pentakomo community, Giorgos Economou, expressed serious concern about the situation and stated that the waste management system requires urgent improvements.
