Fire Breaks Out at Limassol Hotel During the Night
At around 03:53, the fire service received a report of a blaze in a shop located on the ground floor of a hotel in the Germasogeia area of Limassol.
Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene. By 04:15, the fire had been fully brought under control.
During the operation, fire service personnel helped one person leave the premises safely. Another person had already exited the shop on their own before rescuers arrived.
As a result of the fire, the shop's property was damaged, along with the interior finishing and paintwork on part of the walls. The cause of the fire is being investigated together with the competent services.
