New online service: find out which benefits you are entitled to

A digital service has been launched in Cyprus to help residents find out which state benefits and allowances they may be eligible for. The tool, called “Find the benefits that may apply to you,” was developed by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy.

Access to the navigator is available through the single gov.cy portal. Users only need to answer a few short questions about their family composition, income and employment in order for the system to suggest suitable options. The final decision on payments is still made by the relevant departments.

There are currently 45 types of support in the database, including social insurance payments, student grants and housing rent subsidies. The list of available benefits is expected to be expanded in the future.
