Three 18-Year-Old Suspects Detained in Brutal Beating of a Turkish Cypriot
The Cyprus Republic police have detained three 18-year-old young men on suspicion of brutally assaulting a 47-year-old Turkish Cypriot in Ayia Napa. The arrests were carried out early on Monday morning under court warrants.

After receiving first aid at the Famagusta state hospital, the man was transferred to the Nicosia state hospital, where he remains in critical condition and is connected to a ventilator.
The detainees are in custody and are due to appear before the Famagusta District Court on Monday, which will consider the police request for their detention during the investigation.
