Car set on fire in a village near Nicosia
In the early hours of July 5, unknown persons set fire to a passenger car belonging to a 59-year-old local resident in one of the villages of the Nicosia district.
The fire broke out at around 04:30. The car was parked near the owner's house. Firefighters who arrived at the scene extinguished the blaze, but the vehicle was completely burned out.
According to preliminary police data, the fire was intentional. Law enforcement authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
