Motorcycle crashes into trees in Latchi: two people taken to hospital
A serious road accident occurred on Wednesday evening in the Latchi area of Paphos district. Two young people were injured in the crash.
According to police, the 22-year-old motorcycle rider was travelling along Akamantos Avenue from Polis Chrysochous towards the Baths of Aphrodite. For reasons that remain unknown, he lost control, causing the motorcycle to leave the road and crash into trees.
The rider and his 21-year-old passenger were injured in the accident. Both were taken by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital.
The rider’s condition is considered serious but not life-threatening. The woman’s condition is not a cause for concern.
Paphos police are continuing their investigation into the causes of the accident.
