57-year-old man arrested in Larnaca over drugs, weapons and explosives case
The Larnaca District Court ordered that a 57-year-old man, detained during a police operation against organized crime, be remanded in custody for eight days.
During the search, police officers found a pistol, seven cartridges, homemade explosive devices, gunpowder, around 210 grams of cannabis, approximately 70 grams of cocaine, about 5 grams of hashish, two packages of cannabidiol (CBD), two electronic scales, as well as around 40,000 euros in cash.
According to police, the operation was carried out as part of an investigation into crimes related to drug trafficking, possession of weapons and explosives.
The investigation is ongoing.
