When they attempted to pull it over, the driver accelerated and tried to flee. During the pursuit, the car lost control, veered off the road, and plunged down a four-meter cliff.
Miraculously, no one was injured. Authorities later identified the two occupants as a 43-year-old and a 45-year-old man. A search of the vehicle uncovered several car batteries, which are believed to have been stolen.
Both suspects were arrested for unlawful possession of stolen property.
