Man seriously injured while towing a vehicle in Limassol
A serious accident occurred during the towing of a vehicle in the Trachoni area of Limassol. A 41-year-old man suffered a severe head injury after the towing mechanism reportedly broke.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 13:00. A 34-year-old driver was towing a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old man. During the journey, the towing mechanism became detached, as a result of which the driver of the towed vehicle sustained a serious injury.
The injured man was taken to a private clinic, where he remains in the intensive care unit in serious condition.
A test of the 34-year-old driver for alcohol returned a negative result. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
