Limassol search for person who shot a cat: €900 reward offered for information
A Limassol resident has offered a €900 reward for information that could help identify the person who shot his cat.
According to an appeal published on social media, the incident took place in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol. The animal’s owner is asking anyone with any information about what happened to contact him and, if necessary, give a statement to the police.
«€900 reward. Information, witness accounts and a written statement to the police are required regarding the person who shot my cat. Your help could contribute to restoring justice. Any information is valuable,» the published message said.
The post prompted an active reaction from social media users. Many called for the culprit to be found and held accountable.
Shooting animals is a criminal offence and may have serious consequences, including imprisonment.
