Home cannabis plantation found in Limassol
In Limassol, officers from the anti-narcotics unit searched the home of a 38-year-old man and discovered a cannabis plantation set up inside the premises.
The search was carried out pursuant to a court warrant after intelligence information was checked.
During the inspection, it emerged that part of the house had been converted into a modern indoor greenhouse for cultivating narcotic plants. Police seized about 544 grams of cannabis, 12 cannabis plants, as well as plant seeds and equipment.
The suspect was arrested. He will be brought before the Limassol court today, where the issue of a preventive measure will be considered.
