Five-month-old baby dies in sleep in Limassol as police investigate
The tragedy occurred on Tuesday evening in Limassol. The five-month-old baby was found unconscious at home. According to police, the child had been sleeping at home. At around 20:00, the mother discovered that the baby was not showing any signs of life.
The child was taken to a private clinic, where the doctors on duty pronounced the baby dead. According to preliminary information, there were no visible external injuries. The exact cause of death will be established by an autopsy, the date of which will be set at a later stage.
Police are investigating and clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
