Nicosia Municipal Theatre launches a series of free summer events

The Nicosia Municipal Theatre presents a new series of free open-air summer events called «On the side» (On the side). On the last Sunday of each month — from June to August — the theatre’s garden and outdoor spaces will be transformed into a setting for music, cocktails, stand-up comedy and film screenings.

Key details of the first event:
• Date and time: Sunday, June 28, from 17:00 to 23:00.
• Programme: The series kicks off with a music evening titled «Jazz on the side». Guests will be treated to a journey from classic jazz standards to contemporary jazz and funk.
• Participants: Three dynamic Cypriot bands will perform in succession on stage: Trio in Cahoots, Charis Ioannou Quartet and Chunky Funky. The programme is curated by Christos Yerolatis.

Additionally:
Throughout the evening, an open-air bar serving drinks and cocktails will operate in the garden. Admission to the event is completely free.
