Several streets in Nicosia will be closed over the weekend due to roadworks
The Nicosia Municipality announced that roadworks will be carried out in the Lycavitos area from 07:00 on Saturday, July 4, until the morning of Monday, July 6, as part of the city streets reconstruction project.
During the works, the section of Dimitzani Street between Digenis Akritas and Orfeos streets will be closed. Access to Dimitzani Street will be allowed only for local residents.
Voulgari, Kalavriton, Naxos (north and south sections), Orfeos (north and south sections), Kypranoros, Kriti and Philippiadou streets will also remain closed, as announced earlier.
Traffic will be regulated using a temporary scheme with road signs and directional signs. The authorities urge drivers to remain vigilant, follow the temporary road markings and choose alternative routes in advance.
