Diamond engagement ring found in Nicosia: former EU commissioner ищет owner
Former European Commissioner for Health Stella Kyriakides has appealed to the people of Cyprus for help in finding the owner of a white gold engagement ring with a single diamond. The piece of jewellery was found on Tuesday, 9 June, at around 3:00 p.m. on the pavement near the clinic on Andrea Avramidi Street, directly opposite Aretaios Hospital in Nicosia. After several days of unsuccessful attempts to find the owner herself, Kyriakides handed the item over to the Strovolos police.
She called on people to share the information on social media, as the item clearly holds great value for its owner. To collect the ring from the police station, the rightful owner will need to prove their claim by accurately describing the special inscriptions and engraving on the inside of the jewellery.
