A Recycling Materials Truck Caught Fire in Nicosia
A small truck carrying recycling materials caught fire in the Nicosia area.
According to the fire service, the vehicle was parked at a refuse truck depot when the fire broke out.
The fire damaged the vehicle’s engine compartment and passenger cabin.
Three fire crews arrived to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical or mechanical fault. The exact circumstances of the incident will be established during an investigation by the Electromechanical Service and the police.
