According to the fire service, the fire broke out around 05:45 in a premises formerly used as a restaurant. Fire crews arrived promptly and managed to contain and extinguish the flames.
As a result of the fire and high temperatures, the restaurant equipment and the interior of the building were damaged, and an external wooden structure — a pergola — was also affected.
