The Parliament of the Republic of Cyprus launches an internship program for students and school pupils
The Cypriot Parliament is launching a 6-week internship program for university students and a 2-week program for secondary school pupils. The “Practical Exercises in Parliament” program, which will begin on June 8, is designed to help young people get to know the work of the legislative authority more closely, expand their knowledge of parliamentary processes and prepare them to become active citizens.
As part of this initiative, students will work in various committees of the Cypriot Parliament according to their level of knowledge and interests. They will receive theoretical and practical training related to the work of the committees and the General Assembly.
