Three foreigners beaten with a bat in Polis
On the night of July 13, three foreign nationals were attacked in the city of Polis, in the Paphos district, while riding a single scooter.
According to police, an unknown person from a passing SUV hit one of the men on the head with a bat. The blow caused the driver to lose control, and all three fell onto the road.
The injured men were taken to hospital for examination. They did not suffer serious injuries.
Police are searching for the attackers, questioning possible witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage. According to local media, the injured men took a secondary road out of fear of further attacks after similar incidents that had previously occurred in the area.
