Cyprus visa centres in Russia temporarily stop accepting applications
From June 13, BLS International visa centres in Russia will completely stop accepting applications for Cypriot visas due to the expiration of the contract with the embassy. Passports for documents submitted up to and including June 11 will still be available for collection at the company’s offices. The diplomatic mission clarified that the closure is temporary — a new agreement with a new external service provider is expected to be signed soon.
From June 15, applications will be accepted exclusively at the consular section of the Embassy of Cyprus, as well as at the consulates general in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar. Travellers are reminded that documents must be submitted at least 15 days before the planned trip. The previous network of centres, covering nine major Russian cities, operated for exactly six months, since December 2025.
