Cyprus Authorities Plan to Limit Number of Students from Non-EU Countries
The Cabinet of the Republic of Cyprus has approved a proposal to limit the number of students from non-EU countries admitted to each of the 21 private universities in Cyprus.
This initiative, proposed by Education Minister Athinou Michaïlidou, will be implemented starting from the next academic year.
According to Government Spokesman Yiannis Antoniou, students from non-EU Council of Europe member countries will still be allowed to enroll, provided they do not exceed the overall student capacity limits set by each university.
