The Pentagon has released new videos of unidentified objects: among them are a “jetpack man” and a mysterious six-pointed figure

The U.S. Department of Defense has released a new batch of previously classified materials on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). The fourth package included 40 files — documents, photographs, audio recordings and video materials collected by various U.S. agencies. Two videos attracted the most attention, showing objects whose nature specialists have so far been unable to determine.

The first video was filmed in 2020 over the Atlantic Ocean. According to a U.S. Navy report, the military observed a dark object about 12–15 feet tall (approximately 3.7–4.6 meters). In shape, it resembled a person with a jetpack or a jellyfish-like figure. At the same time, the object did not make any sharp maneuvers and, according to experts, was moving in the direction of the wind. The report notes that this could have been a large balloon of an unusual shape, but the available data proved insufficient to confirm or refute that version. Therefore, the object was classified as an unidentified anomalous phenomenon.

The second clip was recorded in 2025 over the Yellow Sea by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. The infrared recording, lasting about 18 seconds, captured an object described in the official account as a «region of contrast resembling a six-pointed star». It remained smoothly in the camera's field of view, but its origin also could not be established.

The release of the materials became part of the Pentagon's ongoing program to declassify archives related to UAP. According to department representatives, the main goal is to ensure maximum transparency and provide researchers with access to the available data.

At the same time, the Pentagon separately emphasizes that none of the published materials is evidence of extraterrestrial life. Most such cases remain unresolved not because they indicate an alien origin of the objects, but because there is not enough information for their unambiguous identification.

In addition to the two most discussed videos, the new archive includes materials from different years — from documents from the late 1940s to modern reports by military pilots and surveillance system operators. Among them are descriptions of other anomalous objects recorded during flights or observations, but in none of these cases did official investigations confirm a link to extraterrestrial civilizations.

Thus, the new publication once again drew attention to the UFO topic, but the official position of the U.S. authorities remains unchanged: this is an investigation of unexplained aerial phenomena, not confirmation of the existence of aliens. While specialists continue to analyze such incidents, possible explanations include atmospheric phenomena, civilian and military technologies, as well as developments by foreign states.
